How to Integrate Mailchimp with Elementor

Integrating Mailchimp with Elementor allows you to easily add subscription forms to your website and collect email addresses for your mailing list. Here’s how you can integrate Mailchimp with Elementor:

  1. Set Up Your Mailchimp Account:
    • If you haven’t already, sign up for a Mailchimp account at https://mailchimp.com/.
    • Log in to your Mailchimp account.
  2. Create an Audience (Mailing List) in Mailchimp:
    • In your Mailchimp dashboard, navigate to the “Audience” tab.
    • Click on “Create Audience” and follow the prompts to set up your mailing list.
  3. Generate Mailchimp API Key:
    • In your Mailchimp account, go to your account settings.
    • Under the “Extras” dropdown, select “API keys.”
    • Click on “Create A Key” to generate a new API key.
    • Copy the API key generated.
  4. Install and Activate Elementor Pro:
    • Elementor Pro is required for integrating Mailchimp with Elementor. If you haven’t already, purchase and install Elementor Pro on your WordPress website.
  5. Install and Activate Mailchimp for WordPress Plugin:
    • In your WordPress dashboard, go to “Plugins” > “Add New.”
    • Search for “Mailchimp for WordPress” and install the plugin developed by ibericode.
    • Activate the plugin.
  6. Connect Mailchimp for WordPress Plugin with Your Mailchimp Account:
    • In your WordPress dashboard, go to “Mailchimp for WP” > “Mailchimp.”
    • Under the “Mailchimp” tab, click on the “Get your API key here” link.
    • Paste the Mailchimp API key you copied earlier into the field provided.
    • Click on the “Save Changes” button to connect your Mailchimp account.
  7. Create a Subscription Form with Elementor:
    • Go to the page where you want to add the Mailchimp subscription form and edit it with Elementor.
    • Drag and drop the “Form” widget from the Elementor panel onto your page.
    • Customize the form fields and design according to your preferences.
  8. Configure Mailchimp Integration in Elementor:
    • Click on the form widget you added to your page to edit its settings.
    • In the left panel, under the “Actions After Submit” section, click on “Add Action” and select “Mailchimp” from the dropdown menu.
    • Configure the Mailchimp integration by selecting your Mailchimp audience (mailing list) and mapping form fields to Mailchimp fields.
    • Save your changes.
  9. Test Your Subscription Form:
    • Preview your page and test the subscription form to ensure that email addresses are being successfully submitted to your Mailchimp audience.
