How to Create FAQ in Elementor

Creating a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section in Elementor involves using the Accordion widget to display questions and answers in a collapsible format. Here’s how you can create a FAQ section in Elementor:

  1. Edit Your Page with Elementor:
    • Go to the page where you want to add the FAQ section and click on the “Edit with Elementor” button to launch the Elementor editor.
  2. Add a Section:
    • Click the “+” icon to add a new section to your page. Choose the desired structure for your section, such as a single column or multiple columns.
  3. Add the Accordion Widget:
    • In the Elements panel, search for the “Accordion” widget or navigate to the “Widgets” > “General” category to find it.
    • Drag and drop the Accordion widget into the section you created in step 2.
  4. Customize the Accordion Widget:
    • After adding the Accordion widget, you’ll see the widget’s settings panel on the left-hand side.
    • Add FAQ items by clicking the “Add Item” button. Each item represents a question and its corresponding answer.
    • Enter the question text in the “Title” field and the answer text in the “Content” field. You can use the rich text editor to format the content.
    • Customize other settings such as the icon style, spacing, and animation effects according to your preferences.
  5. Style the FAQ Section:
    • Switch to the “Style” tab in the Accordion widget settings panel to customize the appearance of your FAQ section.
    • You can change the typography, colors, borders, backgrounds, and other visual elements to match your website’s design and branding.
    • Additionally, you can use the hover and active state settings to define how the accordion items should appear when hovered over or clicked.
  6. Preview and Publish:
    • Once you’re satisfied with the design and styling of your FAQ section, click the “Preview” button to see how it looks. Make any necessary adjustments.
    • Finally, click the “Publish” button to make your changes live on your website.
  7. Test Your FAQ Section:
    • Visit your website to see your FAQ section in action. Test its responsiveness and functionality on different devices.
    • Make sure that users can easily expand and collapse the accordion items to view the questions and answers.

By following these steps, you can create a FAQ section in Elementor to provide answers to common questions and help users find the information they need efficiently.
