How to Create a Footer in Elementor

Creating a footer in Elementor follows a similar process to creating other sections of your website. Here’s how you can create a footer using Elementor:

  1. Access the Footer Template:
    • In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to “Templates” > “Theme Builder” if you’re using Elementor Pro. If you’re using the free version, you may need to access the footer template through the Customizer.
    • Look for the option to edit or create a new footer template.
  2. Add a New Section:
    • Once you’re in the footer template editor, click on the “Add Template” button or the “+” icon to add a new section.
  3. Design Your Footer:
    • Drag and drop widgets from the Elementor panel onto the footer section to add elements such as a logo, navigation menu, contact information, social media icons, copyright text, etc.
    • Customize each widget’s content and styling according to your preferences. You can adjust fonts, colors, spacing, and other design elements using Elementor’s style settings.
  4. Organize the Layout:
    • Arrange the widgets within the footer section to create the desired layout. You can use columns and sections to structure your footer design effectively.
  5. Preview and Adjust:
    • Once you’ve designed your footer, preview it to see how it looks. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure that it aligns with the overall design of your website.
  6. Save Your Template:
    • After you’re satisfied with the design of your footer, click the “Save” button to save the footer template.
  7. Apply the Footer Template:
    • If you’re using Elementor Pro, you can choose where to apply the footer template (e.g., site-wide, specific pages, etc.). If you’re using the free version, your footer template will be automatically applied to all pages.
  8. Publish Your Changes:
    • Once you’ve applied the footer template and made any final adjustments, click the “Publish” or “Update” button to make your changes live on your website.
