How to Create a Slider in Elementor

Creating a slider in Elementor is a straightforward process using the Slider widget. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Install and Activate Elementor:
    • Make sure you have Elementor installed and activated on your WordPress website.
  2. Edit the Page with Elementor:
    • Navigate to the page where you want to add the slider.
    • Click on the “Edit with Elementor” button to launch the Elementor editor.
  3. Add a Section:
    • Click on the “+ Add New Section” button or the folder icon to add a new section to your page layout.
  4. Choose the Number of Columns:
    • Select the desired number of columns for your slider. Typically, sliders are full-width or span multiple columns.
  5. Add the Slider Widget:
    • Within the section you just created, click on the “+ Add Widget” button.
    • Search for the “Slider” widget or locate it in the widget panel under the “Basic” category.
    • Drag the Slider widget into the section you created.
  6. Configure the Slider:
    • Once the Slider widget is added, you can configure its settings in the left panel.
    • Add slides by clicking on the “+ Add Item” button within the widget settings.
    • Customize each slide by adding content such as images, text, buttons, etc. You can also add links to each slide if needed.
  7. Adjust Slider Settings:
    • Customize the appearance and behavior of the slider using the settings available in the widget panel.
    • You can adjust settings such as slide transition effects, autoplay, navigation arrows, pagination, etc.
  8. Preview and Publish:
    • After configuring the slider to your liking, click on the “Preview” button to see how it looks.
    • If everything looks good, click on the “Publish” button to make your changes live on your website.
  9. Test Your Slider:
